Ronto Wrap

What you’ll need:

  • Thinly Sliced Pork chops
  • Cole Slaw mix
  • Cole Slaw dressing (whichever brand you like)
  • Pita Bread
  • Pork Sausage (smoked or grilled)
  • Peppercorn Sauce (You can use store bought if you’d like)
    • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon of coarse ground pepper
    • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
    • 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2
Season your thinly sliced pork chops with salt and pepper, or whatever seasoning you like. Cook them in a shallow pan over medium heat until done, abotu 4 to 5 minutes per side. Once done, set to the side.

Step 3
In the same pan, sautee your sausages until browned, turning often to ensure even cooking. You’ll cook them between 112 to 20 minutes or so, or until the internal temperature is 170 degrees. Once cooked, set aside.

Step 4
Place your pita bread on a baking sheet and put in your preheated oven to toast, between 5 to 7 minutes, checking after 5 minutes to ensure they’re no over-cooking.

Step 5
Mix your cole slaw and cole slaw dressing

Step 6
Assemble your Ronto Wrap by placing one of your cooked thin pork chops, one cooked pork sausage, and a scoop of the cole slaw mix into a toasted pita bread and drizzle with peppercorn sauce.

Enjoy!

Our Story

We hadn’t had a Ronto Wrap when we came up with this recipe. We looked at pictures and spoke with friends and family who had them at the time and came up with this recipe.

We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious this was and if it was this good homemade, we couldn’t wait to taste one from Ronto Roasters!

We finally had the chance to have one on our last trip, and it did NOT disappoint. I think our peppercorn sauce is lacking a bit, and the sausage we used wasn’t 100% authentic to Disney’s, but we were really close!

If you get a chance, check this recipe out. It’s a great summertime recipe that isn’t very heavy. If you end up grilling the pork chop and the sausage, if gives a little bit more of a kick to the recipe!
